Terms of use
These terms apply when you create an account on Obligation Radar or use it. By creating an account you accept them. Obligation Radar is run by Daniel Barcia Abella, Vilnius, Lithuania (daniel@obligationradar.com).
What the service is
Obligation Radar lists financial-services regulation from official sources and filters it to the jurisdictions, licence and themes you choose. It is in early access and free of charge for now. If paid plans are introduced, we will tell you before anything is charged, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
Not legal advice
The service is regulatory information, not legal advice. Entries summarise and link to the official source; always confirm applicability, dates and wording against that source and, where needed, with qualified advice. Coverage is not complete: a rule that is not listed may still apply to you.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Use the service lawfully and do not try to access other people's data, disrupt the service or copy the dataset in bulk to republish or resell it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and updated weekly, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change or discontinue features; if we close the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of the service without checking the official source. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to the address above.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where they live.
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy notice.
